The holiday home ‘Casa Charly’ offers you a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday and unforgettable moments in Spain on the extensive Costa Brava coast.

About the property:

• large, fenced garden with lawn area
• two covered terraces with seating / garden furniture and wind protection if required
• sun loungers and garden shower and parasol
• 10x4 metre swimming pool
• outdoor barbecue (for charcoal)
• garage / parking in front of the garage (lockable) and additional parking on the street in front of the house

About the house:

• Four full bedrooms, each with double bed (1x 1.50 m, 2x 1.60 m, 1x 1.80 m)
• built-in wardrobes with ample storage space and clothes hangers
• three bathrooms, each with shower and window
• open-plan kitchen with a view of the dining
• area cosy sofa corner with fireplace in the interior
• two terraces / balconies on the first and second floor, roof terrace even with sea view

Equipment:

• fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee machine (filter machine + Nescafé Dolce Gusto)
• all kitchen utensils such as pans, pots, crockery etc.
• sufficient tea towels, sponges and washing-up liquid usually available
• second fridge in the garage; can be connected and used for drinks, for example, if required
• beer tapping system for draught beer in the outdoor area; can be used after consultation if interested
• large electric pan (e.g. for paella or gambas)
• Raclette iron for 8 people
• iron and table ironing board
• vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, hand brush etc.
• towels, shower towels, bath mats and towels with envelopes for the sun loungers available; can be used, but must be washed and put back in the cupboard before departure!
• sufficient blankets, pillows and bed linen for all bedrooms; the bed linen is washed and provided by the cleaning lady and can be used if required
• a (powerful) hairdryer is available in all three bathrooms
• washing machine and tumble dryer in the garage
• free to use high chair (for small children)
• Internet / WLAN (fibre optic connection)
• TV in the living room and in two bedrooms
• weight bench on the second floor; can be placed on the terrace during your stay
• spare air bed with electric air pump for approx. 2 x 2 m sleeping alcove on the second floor (e.g. if there are 9 people; by arrangement only)
• two simple bicycles; are in the garage and can be used two e-bikes; can be rented on request

Interesting for dog owners:

• fully fenced; for the very small ones we only have to ‘seal’ the gates again
• large dog cushion for the living room
• outdoor dog cushion feeding/drinking station with two bowls
• extremely dog-friendly environment, also on the wide natural sandy beach

• It is important to us that smoking is not permitted in the house. Smoking is only permitted outside!
• As dog owners and animal lovers, we have nothing against you bringing your pets with you. However, they are only allowed on request!
• We would like to maintain good neighbourly relations. Therefore, please respect the usual quiet times.
• We assume that you will treat the furniture etc. in the same way as your own property.
  

Neighbourhood

About the region:

Sant Pere Pescador is a municipality in the autonomous region of Catalonia in the province of Girona. The town is located on the River Fluvià, which flows into the Gulf of Roses. The estuary and most of the surrounding area up to the mouth of the river La Muga are part of the Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, the second largest wetland area in Catalonia. The long and wide sandy beach is considered one of the most beautiful bays on the Mediterranean and is the trademark of this holiday resort. Sant Pere Pescador is therefore a popular destination for campers, active holidaymakers, sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts on the Costa Brava. It is mainly surfers who congregate here - kitesurfing and water skiing are also possible on some stretches of beach. The surrounding area is also ideal for hiking and cycling.

The town centre of Sant Pere Pescador is 2.5 km away. It is located slightly away from the coast on the Fluvià river and offers a good infrastructure for summer holidaymakers with its supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars.

The nearest towns worth visiting:

• Empuriabrava (10 km) - largest marina in Europe / network of navigable canals
• L'Escala (15 km) - beautiful castle / great bay with a beach bar
• Roses (18 km) - beautiful old town
• Figueres (20 km) - many shopping facilities, Teatro-Museo Dalí etc.

The distance to the nearest airport in Girona is 45 km. Barcelona is 140 km away and is therefore also suitable for a day trip.
